Stand Up Love Sentiments by Dianna's Crafts

Hi Everyone, Dianna here with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts - Stand Up Sentiments - Love.  I used the colors for the February Facebook Challenge - Pink, White and Silver.   

I painted the love sentiment white.  I then had Gina cut out the Love lettering from Yours Truly paper line. I glued pink paper first then off set the grey paper. I embossed the grey paper with silver and white embossing powder.  I then used a pink distressed ink on both the pink and grey paper.  

I painted the large heart from Build a layout Lovebirds white then colored it pink with a Copic Marker.  I applied glossy accents to the heart and sprinkled white and silver beads.  I cut out the man and women from Authentique - Crush -Cache.  The dress was blue and I colored it pink.  I painted the gears from the Gears Borders and Corners Miniatures white and used Stickles on the gears.  I placed grey pearls and rhinestones in the center of the gears.  

I painted the lovebirds white and colored the birds grey with Copic Markers.  I cut one side of the heart vine and colored it white and pink.  

I wanted the back of the Love to be pretty also.  So, I painted the Heart of Gears white and then colored it pink.  I used Stickles on the heart and placed grey pearls in the middle of the gears.

Tea Composition Box by Dianna's Crafts

Hi Everyone,  this is my first Shabby Chic project and also my mother's day gift to my mom.   We both love tea, so I made her a something to that matched her new bedroom colors and her love of tea. 

I painted Gina's Designs Composition Box white and then used a light beige to create a white washed look (which you cannot see but is there :).  I used Graphic 45 Botanical Tea paper and fussy cut the birds, teapot and rose out.  I tore the teal paper and distressed it for the background.  The I used a teal spritz on Gina's Designs Cardstock Doily.  

The bottom box has a lace back and a art deco brooch with a black ribbon bow.  I stamped a victorian lady stamp and left it black and white except for the hat and dress which I colored with Copic Markers.  

The second box's back was papered with Graphic 45 Botanical Tea and the humming birds.  The butterfly is from Gina's Designs and I used Twinkling H20's.   The key was painted white then silver to create a marbled effect.  The yellow rose is from Graphic 45 and the embossed cut outs were distressed with ink.  I used a row of seed pearls on the edge of the embossed cut out. 

The third box has 1/2 of a Gina's Designs Cardstock Doily lightly distressed.  The teal button is one of two used in the box.  The tea cup and spoon is from Gina's and were painted white then chalk ink was applied.  The flower stamp is from Graphic 45.  The flowers were white and spritzed with teal paint, allowed to dry then spritzed again with a silver mist.  The little frame is actually a ball label holder that I got on clearance.  The frame was a bright gold so I lightly painted white then went over it with a silver sharpie.  I put black velvet ribbon behind it and used buttons from my stash.  

Below is a Composition Box that I did for Halloween 2014.  I wanted to show how different the Composition Box looks with different ideas.

Santa's Balloon Ride by Dianna

Hi everyone, Dianna here hoping that your holidays were wonderful!  Here is my take on 

Santa's Christmas Delivery from a Balloon with a Steampunk Twist. 

I took a 12 x 12 canvas and painted the sides and border a light brown.  I used Mod Podge to seal the paint and adhere the Bo-Bunny -Silver and Gold - Festivities paper.  The Compass is from Gina's Designs and painted gold (it kinda looks like it is printed on the paper so I raised it for dimension).  

I used Twinkling H20's Crystal Green on the Gina's Design raw chipboard and got an irridence effect on the trees.  I stamped a Jingle Bells music stamp on the trees and finished the edges with Stickles - Pantina. I placed chipboard under the trees at different thicknesses to create a 3D look.  I hand drew Santa, colored him with Copic Markers and used a snow writer on his coat and hat. The chipboard basket was Sparkling H20's and Bo-Bunny paper.  The list was an old stamp on tan paper and distressed with brown ink

Gina's Designs Mini Display Tray -Hot Air Balloon tops the canvas on a cardboard "hinge".  I used the Twinkling H20's on the outside of the balloon.  BO-Bunny - Silver and Gold paper line was used on the whole balloon.  I used Tim Holtz Rosette die by Sizzix under Gina's Clock face and hands and a super small one was used as a gear.  A fence from Gina's Beach Shape Set was cut down to make a ladder for the elf.  Gina's gears were painted with silver, gold and bronze.  The peppermint was painted white, red and distressed with brown ink to give it a gear look.  I used a Gina's Design Type Writer Key "25" as gear. The snowflake was daubed with Stickles - Icicle, Gold and Pantina. The BO-Bunny - Elf Magic paper elves were fussy cut out and the magic ticket was punched out using an EK Success Punch.  Gina's flourishes miniatures were painted black and gold.  The dream in a circle is new for Gina's Design.
