Snowman Mini Album by Dianna

Hi Everyone, Dianna here with Gina's Designs adorable Snowman Mini Album (Coming Soon) and a Cross-Promotion with The Robin's Nest. On the cover, I used a beautiful Snowflake paper is from The Robin's Nest and Gina's Designs Title Winter Wonderland (I cut the snowman off and cut up the phrase to fit on the mini album). All the large snowmen are Chipboard from Gina's and covered with plain white cardstock embossed with an embossing folder. I daubed Stickles on both the Title and the Snowmen. The hats are patent leather paper and scarfs are felt.

The blue and white striped paper is the coordinating side of the glitter deer paper from The Robin's Nest. I am kinda proud of the fact that this mini album has fold outs, which are on plain white card stock or drop-off from The Robin's Nest paper. The snowflake rosette is cut from a die and prior to folding the rosette I daubed Stickles on the edge to give it a little something. The clip is just a plain paperclip with a snowflake charm. The LET IT SNOW is from Gina's Designs, Winter Shape Set painted white and Stickled. The snowflakes thru out is from the Snowflake Shape Set and the Winter Shape Set. The Deer from Gina's Designs is being used as a pocket. I glued the deer on The Robin's Nest glitter deer paper and cut out around the back of the Deer and created a folded a flap and glued it on the back of the Deer. I painted the Ice Skates white, daubed Stickles and used a snowwriter for the "fur" trim. I created a downward foldout and glued the Ice Skates on the front. The rest of the pages are a using the rest of the snowfakes and snowmen.

Valentine Tag by Dianna

Hi Everyone, Dianna here with a Valentine with a Steampunk Twist.  I really could not help myself as soon as I seen the Bo-Bunny Paper "Star-Crossed" line, I just knew that it would look wonderful with Gina's Designs Eiffel Tower and Clockwork Penny Farthing.  I also wanted to include a heart for the Gina's Designs February Craft Group Challenge, so of course I went with a Steampunk heart.
I covered a Gina's Designs X-Large Chipboard Tag with the Bo-Bunny Paper, used Vintage Photo and Black Soot to distress the edges (a lot).  I used Black Soot on the Eiffel Tower as a base coat and then used Stickles in three different colors to give it dimension.  The card stock dolies were spritzed with Ranger Sparkling H20's in a spritzer with a lot of water.  I have having a heck of a time with clogging of the normal Ranger Sprays so I made my own.  I will let you know on my next blog update if it worked or if that clogged too.   The Steampunk Heart and Clockwork Penny Farthing were "painted" with chalk ink in a bronze color, then distressed and Stickled.
The Julie Nutting Media Doll was colored with Copic Markers and Bo-Bunny paper was used for her dress.  The underdress was spritzed with water and folded a couple of times (fan like) to get the ruffled effect.  I created a sleeve out of left over paper from the underskirt.  The opposite side of the striped paper is hearts (which is really cute).  I used red Stickles and dotted the hearts for extra sparkle. The suitecases are from a really cute Stamping Bella Stamp that I stamped, colored with Copic and cut out.  The Gina's Designs Art Deco Border was painted with gold chalk ink and spritzed and Stickled to create a tarinshed look.
Sparkling H20 was used on the Balloon and then brushed corduroy Stickles was used to create a rope look.  I Stickled the teal paper to give more depth to the balloon.  I included a couple of pictures of the balloon because you really cannot see it well in the overall photo.
Finally, I stamped the RubberNecker Stamps on plain cardstock and distressed the edges with bronze chalk ink.

Mini Album by Dianna"s Crafts

Hi everyone, I hope the weather is treating you well and not dumping snow where you live. Below are the first six pages of my first ever mini album. This mini album was created for January's color challenge on Gina's Designs Craft Group located on Facebook. A designer for Gina's Designs and co-host of the Craft Group Page, Deann McNulty, challenged members to create an item using the below colors.
I decided to challenge myself even more and create a mini album. There was a lot of stress and yes, I will say it, cursing on my part, but it turned out to be a labor of love and something I really enjoyed creating. Please enjoy the first six pages of this mini album (yes it is completed and you will have to visit the Craft Group page or my blog page to see the finished product in a couple of days).
The first page is one of the last pages that I created. It has two folds that are interactive and fold upward. The key, flourish and double hearts are from Gina's Designs. I sprayed them with a favorite of mine, Maya Mist - Blue Agave and then used Stickles, a lime color, on them. All pages in this mini album were distressed with Vintage Photo ink. The owl is from Rubber Moon.

The second page is a sideways interactive fold that was punched and attached to the folder. The owl stamp was colored with Copic markers and placed on a Gina's Designs flourish and love ticket. Both chipboard pieces were sprayed with Maya Mist.

The third page has Gina's Designs scribble frame hearts and flowers. I left the top open so that a picture can be placed inside. The butterfly is from Gina's delicate frames and ornaments. I used Blue Agave on both, but with the butterfly, I sprayed it three times not waiting for it to dry. This gave it a tie dye effect. The owl is a punch from Hobby Lobby.

The fourth page is actually my first page. You can see the manilla folders used to create the 4 x 6 pouches that are used on each page. Inside each pouch is a pull out for two pictures (one on each side). The double hearts and dream butterfly frame are from Gina's Designs and sprayed with Maya Mist. The pocket was made with Taylored Expressions, Tag Pocket. I made the tags with my new Fiskers tag punch (very cool, it punches the tag, creates the hole and puts the eyelet).
The fifth page is an interactive downward fold. The flag with the word stamp was made with a Fiskers punch and the dragonfly was a punch. The inside flower was made with punches.

The sixth page was a downward interactive fold. The Love is from Gina's Designs 10 words and top was painted white and distressed. I punched out a small tag and cut out one of the flowers, poped it up and added a rhinestone.

Santa's Balloon Ride by Dianna

Hi everyone, Dianna here hoping that your holidays were wonderful!  Here is my take on
Santa's Christmas Delivery from a Balloon with a Steampunk Twist.

I took a 12 x 12 canvas and painted the sides and border a light brown.  I used Mod Podge to seal the paint and adhere the Bo-Bunny -Silver and Gold - Festivities paper.  The Compass is from Gina's Designs and painted gold (it kinda looks like it is printed on the paper so I raised it for dimension).

I used Twinkling H20's Crystal Green on the Gina's Design raw chipboard and got an irridence effect on the trees.  I stamped a Jingle Bells music stamp on the trees and finished the edges with Stickles - Pantina. I placed chipboard under the trees at different thicknesses to create a 3D look.  I hand drew Santa, colored him with Copic Markers and used a snow writer on his coat and hat. The chipboard basket was Sparkling H20's and Bo-Bunny paper.  The list was an old stamp on tan paper and distressed with brown ink

Gina's Designs Mini Display Tray -Hot Air Balloon tops the canvas on a cardboard "hinge".  I used the Twinkling H20's on the outside of the balloon.  BO-Bunny - Silver and Gold paper line was used on the whole balloon.  I used Tim Holtz Rosette die by Sizzix under Gina's Clock face and hands and a super small one was used as a gear.  A fence from Gina's Beach Shape Set was cut down to make a ladder for the elf.  Gina's gears were painted with silver, gold and bronze.  The peppermint was painted white, red and distressed with brown ink to give it a gear look.  I used a Gina's Design Type Writer Key "25" as gear. The snowflake was daubed with Stickles - Icicle, Gold and Pantina. The BO-Bunny - Elf Magic paper elves were fussy cut out and the magic ticket was punched out using an EK Success Punch.  Gina's flourishes miniatures were painted black and gold.  The dream in a circle is new for Gina's Design.

Snow Fairy and Mitten Cards by Dianna

Hi everyone Dianna here with two snowflake cards.

The Snow Fairy card is my take from a card I saw on Pinterest.

The Fairy is from Gina's Designs Garden Fairies. When I saw this particlar fairy I thought she looked like a ice fairy. I used Sparkling H2O's on the Fairy and snowflakes. I painted one of Gina's trees with white acrylic, then used Copic Markers and white pearl chalk ink to give it a wintery affect. I punched with a Fisker 1/2 inch and 1 inch punches on clear vellium and a white metallic paper. I then distressed all of the circles with a silver chalk ink. I distressed the teal paper with light brown ink and cut the branches off the tree. I laid out the branches and circles to look like snow globes. Then placed the snowflakes around the card like the fairy was creating them. To finish off the card I used rhinestones on the snowflakes and through out the card.
I picked up an small envelope maker from Taylored Expressions and decided that it would be a great on the front of a card. I decided to use some of the pink paper from Crate Paper - Bundled Up.
I papered mittens from Gina's Designs Winter Shape Set. I layered Stickles on the plain chipboard snowflakes to create the vintage look on the snowflakes. I then printed out the "in the meadow" saying from the computer but a giftcard would be great in that slot as well. Rhinestones and a teal bow complete the look.

Two Christmas Cards by Dianna

Hi Everyone Dianna here with two Christmas Cards.
The first card is Santa with a tree, wreath and word Believe from Gina's Designs. The background paper is "Beauty" from Authentique which is not actually "christmas paper" but a victorian look to it so it works well with card. The christmas tree chipboard is covered with music paper that had been distressed with brown ink. I used Stickles on the edges and to create the internal branches. I used Sparkling H2O's on the Believe and Wreath.
I used copic on Santa, the bear and rocking horse.
Santa's fur is a Snow Writer with Stickles daubed on it. A white fur ball was used to finish off Santa's hat.

The Second card's background is layed with scrap paper. The bottom layer of vintage is a Christmas word stamp on tea stained paper. The Jingle Bellsis a stamp and was stamped on a torn piece of scrap card stock. The Gina's Design Music Note was painted gold and then daubed with brown and gold Stickles. The Robin Stamp was colored with copic an the snow is from a snow writer.

Winter Snowman Banner by Dianna

Hi Everyone, Dianna here with Gina's Designs new Winter Snowman Banner.

The kit comes with six chipboard snowmen, twelve mittens, six scarfs, six hats and the letters to spell out Winter. I cut traced and fussy cut the six snowmen out of white cardstock and glued the cardstock on the chipboard. I used copic markers-BG0000 and N0 to outline the snowmen and create arms. Then I used three Darice embossing folders (two of them have snowflakes the other is a swirl pattern) and embossed two of the snowmen to one of the embossing folders, alternating the patterns. I embossed black card stock with same swirl embossing folder from Darice. I daubed Stickles - Icicles on each of the snowmen.

The Twinkling H2O's were used on the scarfs to give them an iridescent look. I traced and fussy cut the mittens alternating kraft and teal snowflake paper. The Winter was traced and fussy cut out of a white paper with glitter lightbulbs. The snowmens eyes are little self-sticking 1/2 round beads and the mouths are the tiniest buttons I have ever seen. The carrot noses were hand-cut out of orange paper and a copic marker - E04 was used to distress the nose. The teal ribbon was from my stash and the holly berry sprig is from Hobby Lobby.
